About Us
We are a unique learning center focused on enriching and uplifting creative people through music, movement & art.
Artistry Park is where we enrich and uplift creative individuals through music, movement, and art. We understand the challenges of limited creative arts programs in schools and need for safe spaces for youth.
Our mission is to cultivate a dynamic community that sparks and nurtures creativity and contributes to a sustainable artistic future. We invite you to join us in celebrating the remarkable talents of Black and creatives while exploring a diverse range of enriching experiences for your family.
Meet The Team
April's Story
April began her art journey at the young age of 13. After seeing her first piece on the wall in 8th grade, she never turned back. At 16, April taught her first art class and knew this was who she was born to be.
Currently, April travels all over California to teach camp/group workshops and private classes in locations such as Orange County, Los Angeles, Long Beach, San Diego, Oakland, Carmel and Sonoma. She is also developing a traveling workshop to work with more communities in the U.S. and abroad. Her mission is to give back all that she has learned over the years, back to the community. For 20+ years April has been a multidisciplinary mix media artist combining techniques such as wood burning, painting, drawing, carving and sketching. Her goal is to create a permanent space for her local community and provide free workshops for young people.
“The most important thing at Artistry Park is for people to have a safe place for healing and expression through creativity. The community, especially the youth, deserves to be exposed to creative enrichment. It shows them that they have choices and can be anything they want to be.” - April
